Congratulations to our Monday evening team who had a successful first season in the Chorley league, coming second and gaining promotion to Division 6. They scored the most points and gave away the least out of all the teams, and had two out of the top five player averages in the division.

We hope to field a second team on Monday evenings next season. It is open to all ages, so if you want to give it a go, let us know!

Our Tuesday afternoon veterans team also had a good season, finishing 8th, but well clear of the teams below them. They improved on last season’s total by a massive 30 points, which bodes well for next season. We are looking to field a second team on Tuesday afternoons next year, so if you are over 55 and fancy a laugh on a Tuesday, let us know.

The Thursday afternoon veterans league sees both our teams happily sitting mid-table, ready to launch our campaigns next season.

The green will be closed after the 17th of September to allow Bryan to work on keeping the ground in top condition, but we will be starting a winter league on Thursdays from the beginning of November (a team doubles competition).
